On this week's show, Gavin, Mick and Maurice look back on the All-Ireland hurling final and ask where Limerick went right, where Galway went wrong, and how the hell it ended up weaponised as a bit of Shane Ross eejitry.

Elsewhere, we speak to rugby ref and hurling fan Nigel Owens, Maurice guides us through the most influential games of the last 16 years, and we pick our favourite moments of the 2018 Championship.

Aug 19, 2018

Limerick are All-Ireland Champions for the first time since 1973. A one point win over defending champions Galway in the end. We had All-Ireland winners Daithi Regan and Brendan Bugler in studio, straight from Croke Park, to look back on a mad final and an epic year.

Right, here we are then. The latter stages of the championships, with only the elite remaining. Your humble pod is therefore in a pit of existential despair, so to overcome it, we are indulging in a bit of fantasy wherein we draft a player from the so-called weaker counties to improve each of the sides in the Super 8s.

Elsewhere, we ask if football is actually getting batter, and bicker about spreads and grammar.

Jul 3, 2018
